BGAI provided architectural services for the Imperial Theatre to improve accessibility and patron amenities to their first-floor washrooms, box office, Capitol Bar and entry spaces at this 600-seat performing arts facility. 

This project updated material finishes, and expand the washroom facilities, and provide new barrier-free accessible features at the washrooms, new BF entrance and box office counters.  In keeping with the Art Deco style of the original building, finishes and materials were selected to be durable and easy to maintain while working with & highlight the historic features of the original design.

BGAI’s design team facilitated these building upgrades to meet the Theatre Sarnia operational goals of  providing a more enjoyable and accessible theatre experience to their patrons and the Sarnia-Lambton theatre community.
