BGAI was retained to evaluate the existing parking lot of Kendall Street properties in relation to the occupant loads of the related buildings.
Site analysis was conducted for the development of an updated site plan and to gain a better understanding of the issues that needed to be addressed. As per the Zoning Bylaws, the existing parking was supposed to be theoretically adequate, but the operational requirements of the organizations in these buildings created an unsatisfied demand for extra parking. The study of the buildings and their projected occupant loads determined the need for an additional 89 parking spaces. Following the study, BGAI was able to provide the technical services for drawing complex construction details and plans for the renovation of the parking lot.
