In the fall of 2019, Burkhart Gilchrist Architects Inc. was asked to be a part of the High School Engineering Design Challenge. The challenge was created to allow Lambton County high school students to experience solving a real-world engineering-design problem within their region. This years’ project was to redesign the pavilion and bandstand area in Canatara Park to create a more accessible gathering space.  The winning team would have the opportunity to have their design considered by the city. BGAI volunteered to provide modelled renders of the students’ projects to help them visualize their design.
