David Gilchrist Architects was brought in to lead the design of the renovation of the Student Learning Centre at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA).

This project included renovating existing storage rooms, maintenance areas and the reference library into a new training centre for student doctors. The new space included accessible washrooms, showers, locker space & on-call sleep room, meeting rooms, lounge areas and diverse spaces that would help develop CKHA students’ learning and growth.

The proposed bright and modern environment was designed to provide CKHA with interior spaces that would ensure that Chatham-Kent has the tools to continuously be a source of innovation and advancements within its field.
